Elementary Mathematics

The students that attend the small-group math classes will benefit greatly from the challenging and differentiated curriculum, and individual attention from an expert teacher. In the mathematics class, students will learn math concepts and strategies for solving challenging math word problems. This course will enable students to solve math concepts and word problems logically and creatively, using a variety of strategies.  Students will have the opportunity to explain solutions to the class. The material is differentiated based on each student’s individual needs. This class is ideal for students who need support with math concepts and word problems, or need an extra challenge in mathematical problem solving. All courses at Silver Creek Academy are taught by expert teachers who are fully credentialed.
