We’ll discuss and practice some highly relevant ways mindfulness of our body, breath, and mind help us make better decisions, improve our health, and more successfully navigate stress and conflict, as well as the factors to be aware of if we want this to be an integrated part of our daily lives.

Lesson plan/agenda: Go through definition and introduction of mindfulness, followed by practice of mindful body movements, mindful breathing, and mindfulness of the thoughts and emotions.

Audience participation/activities: Gentle body motions (can be seated, accessible to everybody), breathing, meditation.
