Remote Control Plane Engineering - Hands-On Experience - SkyPioneers

SkyPioneers: Remote Control Plane Engineering is an engaging, educational experience for children ages 12-14, exposing them to remote control engineering and giving them hands-on experience through the construction of their own remote control plane. The program teaches the physics of small remote control planes, how the related electrical components work, and implements the engineering design process throughout. The program consists of lectures, experimenting time, and build time for small groups to implement the knowledge they gain while they construct their own remote control plane. NOTE: This 4-session program meets on four, consecutive Sundays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM starting on Sunday, Sept. 29 and ending on Sunday, Oct. 20. Pre-registration is required, and registered participants are expected to attend all 4 sessions. Please do not register unless your child is able to attend all four sessions.
