Presented by San José Public Library

Teens Reach is the youth council for the San José Public Library, providing a key way for young adults to build their leadership skills by developing and participating in library activities, as well as becoming library advisors and advocates.

For ages 13-18.

Pearl Avenue's Teens Reach group meets monthly on the third Thursday with socializing and fun at 4:00 pm.

Our in-person meet up plans include:

  • Teen Volunteer Opportunities
  • Election for Advisory Board
  • Community Youth Engagement
  • Games & Activities
  • Snacks
  • Guest Speakers

Bring a friend, and learn more about what to expect with volunteering this year.

If you are new to volunteering with the San Jose Public Library, please visit the Teens Reach: Community Service webpage or more information and be sure to create your online volunteer account (click “Sign Me Up” under Pearl Avenue Branch).
