Storytime at San Mateo County Libraries

Get ready to learn and play with your little one! Hear new stories, sing songs and learn wiggles that the whole family can enjoy together, from toddlers to grown-ups.

This event will be held in the children's room at the Atherton library. After Storytime, join us for Stay and Play where kids and their caregivers can practice interpersonal skills, have fun learning to share, and socialize!

Let’s make music together! Join us for a silly, funny, song-and-dance-filled storytime for all ages. 

This event will be held outdoors at San Pedro Valley Park. Please bring your blanket/seating and sun protection. Capacity limits may apply. Storytime may be canceled in the event of inclement weather or poor air quality.

It’s a musical jamboree! Join us as we make music together in this silly, song-and-dance-filled storytime for all ages.

Baby storytime centers around parent/caregiver-child interactions. This storytime is developmentally appropriate for newborns and babies up to 18 months old. Please join us for rhymes, lap bounces, singing, instruments and a book or two. 

Please join us for songs, stories and movement activities! This storytime is developmentally appropriate for children between the age of two and three years old and focuses on parent/caregiver and child interactions. We will use fun books and activities to channel toddlers' energy into interactive learning.
