Phonics Classes - Toddler

This class lays the foundations for your child to begin their journey as a reader (and writer!) Students will learn a new letter sound each week, and sessions will consist of games, crafts and activities to make learning memorable and fun. Once a handful of sounds have been introduced, children will practice putting the sounds together to read words and breaking words apart to spell words. The class will also practice letter formation and other phonological awareness skills such as rhyme and alliteration. Phonic Boom sessions are taught by an experienced Kindergarten teacher, and class sizes are kept small to allow for child/teacher interaction and give every child the opportunity to take part and succeed.
