Diving

Four days per week is a program intended for those who are interested in competitive diving and want to push their skills on the diving board. Divers in this program can train up to eight hours per week in the water with additional dry land training included.

Friday: 7:00pm-9:00pm

Saturday: 11:00am-1:00pm

Sunday: 11:00am-1:00pm

Hurdles, lines, and good times! FUNdamentals of Diving! is an introduction to springboard diving for children age's 13 - 17.  In this course participants will learn basic diving skills that are both fun and challenging.  The program is rooted in a learning-by-doing approach to diving that is designed to help children learn how to dive safely and confidently.  Participants will learn how to simulate dives on flat ground, do some exercise to get warmed up, then dive into instruction.  Each session will include engaging challenges and games that will motivate individuals to push themselves! All participants must additionally become a member of AAU at aausports.org. More details will be given at time of registration.
