Being a lifeguard can be one of the most rewarding jobs in recreation. Lifeguards provide water safety and security measures, and are first responders in time of need. Trainees will learn adult, child and infant CPR; water safety, water rescues, as well as first aid and emergency response procedures. Trainees will be required to pass a pre-course swimming test during the first class. Upon successful completion of the course written and skills tests, trainees will receive a 2-year American Red Cross Certification for Lifeguarding, First aid, CPR and AED.
Lifeguard Orientation Day: Saturday March 26th at 9am. Get an early opportunity to practice the physical tests before the start of the class!
