We will cover the scientific evidence for why these are important and how they impact many “life-style” diseases, such as, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, depression, dementia and certain cancers. Each class we will also cover practical suggestions that can be implemented in our daily lives to may help improve our overall health and well-being. The course will consist of a series of five lectures where we review the science behind living a healthy life.
