Fishing Camp

Did you know that there are many species of sharks that live in the San Francisco Bay? Come out and catch (and release) fish at the Hayward shoreline! Learn the basics of fishing (knot tying, casting, landing a catch) and about the diversity of life in the Bay and off our coast through crafts, hands-on exploration, and much more. Bring a zero-waste lunch and be prepared to get a little muddy. Fee includes T-shirt and all activities.
